Veterinary Industry Summary: Nov 20-Nov 26, 2022
Stats from the Veterinary Industry Tracker powered by Vetsource and the AVMA
Nov 20-Nov 26, 2022
Year-over-year visits and months of parasiticide protection dispensed have been down consistently for quite some time. Visit data from the Vetsource Premium Veterinary Industry Tracker shows that product purchase visits, specifically, are down the most compared to sick and well visits. Since product purchase visits represent around 26% of total visits, it’s important for practices to ensure they are taking steps to retain those visits in order to offset the decline in total visits.
Last week: U.S. veterinary practices saw year-over-year revenue growth of 3.6% and -3.8% growth in visits.
