Year-over-year veterinary industry revenue saw a slight boost last week, rising to 2.0% compared to last week’s 1.7%. Meanwhile, veterinary industry visits declined from -2.9% to -3.2% in the same time period.

-3.3% Flea/Tick YoY

-1.7% Products YoY

 

Preventatives and products experienced a decline last week compared to the week prior. Heartworm decreased from -6.6% to -7.8%, flea/tick dropped from -0.9% to -3.3%, and products fell from -0.9% to -1.7%.

Services saw an increase in the same time period, rising from 2.5% to 3.1%.

The rolling 14-day trendline shows a steady decline in revenue and visits since the beginning of June.

Like last week, Maine leads year-over-year revenue at 5.6%, and Massachusetts and Oregon are trailing at 5.4% and 5.2% respectively.

Oregon leads year-over-year visits at 0.4%, with Nevada and Washington behind at -0.2% and -0.7% respectively.
