Today we’re going to look at veterinary industry stats for the month of July. These metrics are based on transactional data from nearly 4,700 veterinary practices across the United States. Revenue growth was at 1.6% while visits continue to lag behind and were down -5.9% year-over-year in July. Both metrics are lower than what we saw in June.

-5.4% Flea/Tick YoY |
+2.9% Services YoY |
-1.5% Products YoY |
Months of heartworm and flea/tick protection dispensed and also revenue from products were all down in July, while revenue from services was up. Each of these metrics are down compared to June.
Maine 10.1% Revenue YoY |
Wisconsin 6.3% Revenue YoY |
South Carolina 5.8% Revenue YoY |
Our top three performing states for average year-over-year veterinary revenue growth for July are Maine, Wisconsin, and South Carolina.
