As devastating wildfires spread across the Los Angeles area, our thoughts are with the countless people, pets, wild animals, veterinary practices, animal shelters, and other businesses that have been affected.
The AVMA has resources for wildfire victims here.
If you’re interested in donating money to help, GoFundMe has created a General Wildfire Relief Fund, and at least one veterinary-specific GoFundMe has been created to help veterinary professionals and those who have lost their practices to the wildfires. You can also donate to the Red Cross by texting the word CAWILDFIRES to 90999.
We’re thinking of you, Southern California!
