January 12–18, 2025
According to Indeed, veterinarian is the best job of 2025.
Indeed’s “best jobs of 2025” list was compiled based on three criteria:
- A minimum salary of $75,000
- At least 20% growth in job postings over the past three years
- At least 5% of postings are remote or hybrid
The jobs that met the three requirements were then ranked based on their share of job postings on Indeed, and veterinarian topped the list. Sales representative, physician, civil engineer, and estimator rounded out the list’s top five.
On the Indeed platform, veterinarian job postings have risen 124% over the past three years, and the Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates the role will continue to grow.
