For the second week of August, as we approach back-to-school time, veterinary practices saw modest year-over-year revenue growth while growth in visits continued to underperform. Year-over-year growth was at 4.2% for revenue and -3% for visits. Revenue from professional services again carried most of that growth in revenue, at nearly 6% year-over-year growth. Months of heartworm and flea/tick protection dispensed were down again this past week but up compared to the week prior. Product revenue was again flat but up slightly compared to the week prior.
